Welcome to 58 Upper Hillsborough

58 Upper Hillsborough is a new residential construction project in downtown Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.  Home owners, Aaron Stavert and Sheri Lee McKenna have set out to build a modern, energy-efficient and community-minded house in the downtown.  In an effort to demonstrate the business case and accessibility of sustainable design and construction, their home will be built as the first registered LEED for Homes project in PEI.

  1. Good to see that there is some contemporary work being done on PEI!

  2. There is a definite need for good modern architecture in Prince Edward Island. I can’t believe so little thoughtful design can be found here. The don’t know what is sadder, the plastic imitations of houses our great grandparents would have built, or the mini homes Kent makes that are never more than 20 years from a landfill. I’d love to hear about the sustainable features of this house and perhaps a note on its design concept!
